36 WEEKS...

Well, I've made it to 36 weeks - what a blessing that is. After 2 healthy kids, then 2 early miscarriages, I feel so blessed to be where I am now in this pregnancy. My doctor said that I was dilated to almost 3, and now I was playing the waiting game. She feels like I will go into labor before I am induced (she will induce me one week before my due date of Aug. 21 if I choose to). Besides not sleeping good, pressure and terrible indigestion I feel great. I should think upon the more positive side of things.

Even though we moved into our house a few months ago, we still have little things to do around here. But I don't need to worry about those things right now. Having everything ready for a new baby is our priority at the moment. Finding a piece of furniture for the foyer, having a couple of plants in special places, the playroom being organized and painting the kitchen and living area will have to wait for the Fall. I can handle that. Oh, and one of the biggest things that needs to be done, the yard- help us all. We have weeds everywhere. The grass is dead and I don't know what you call the green things in our flower beds. I suppose it can all wait as well.

We did paint and fix up the kids rooms and they are so proud of them. The one thing I wanted done more than anything was their rooms. So, we have taken care of that. Only a few here and there things need to be done to accommodate Macy and we will be ready.

We are getting more and more excited around here. The kids cannot wait! We can only pray for a healthy little girl at this point and an easy delivery (I hope) with no complications. Next Thursday we will have an ultrasound to see how big she is. Joshua was 7lbs 10 oz at 37 1/2 weeks and Marah was 6 lbs 2 oz at 38 weeks. We'll see.

no goin back now, sister!! having 3 is an adjustment (but i'm sure your sister can attest to that!). for us the energy level is just different. when i only had luke to take care of with a newborn, not a big deal. but the 2 are wearing me out. i haven't gotten them outside as much as i need to b/c it seems like there is always something inside that needs to be done...plus thost biggo whoppin junebugs are everywhere and i can't stand to be attacked by bugs!! but micah gets them out in the afternoons and that is a help. now that i can get out more with little sister, gonna start taking them all for walks. the boys are absolutely gaga over AC. luke is especially protective...doesn't even really like anyone else to hold her but me and micah! enjoy the last couple of weeks with just 2!

I am praying for you! I am so tired taking care of Jake and Ty that sometimes I just want to hide and sleep *ha*. If I could just get Ty to sleep through the night it would be great and I wouldn't be so tired but that day will come! Glad you are doing well and I will continue to pray for a healthy baby girl and a smooth delivery.

I'm so happy for you Paige! I can't wait to meet Macy! Oh, and the 'to do list' will never end so you might as well just relax for now. I'd love to come over and help you sometime! Bonnie would love to play with Marah!

We are so excited! I'm counting Macy as Abbie, Bailey, and Noah's little sis, too, if that's ok with you. Since we are definitely not having a little sis or bro for them...Lord willing. :) They will love her!

ah, yes...the itty bitty bows. you know how they keep them in in the hospital? KY!! and it dries clear (and like glue almost!!) just a little dollup, stick the bow on (and i used the hair dryer on low cool if i was in a hurry). and i'll probably go back to them for a little bit now that she is getting some little fuzzies again (and they look like they may be blonde!!! yay!!) but i thought that site was a super easy tutorial and all mamas of girls need to know how to make bows!!
