EASTER - part 3 (the finale)

The night before Easter Sunday, Joshua started running a fever and complaining of his throat hurting.  Come to find out - he had strep again.  Poor guy:)  But he braved through the day Saturday with all the family and Sunday too.  I had all of our clothes laid out for Sunday morning knowing he would probably not be able to go, but wanted to be prepared in case.  He was running 102 that morning.  But my little man was sweet enough to put on his Easter clothes and make it through a few pics before daddy and the girls left for church.  By the time they got home from church, the motrin had kicked in and he was feeling good.  So we headed to Moulton for the afternoon.  We were all looking forward to the delicious meal Mimi was preparing (awesome cook) and the kids couldn't wait to get their second Easter basket (from Mimi and Pappy).
Joshua was trying to look well

Marah wanted a picture by herself to show off her Easter outfit
This picture was taken at Mimi and Pappy's - Joshua changed back into his clothes for another picture there.
My mother-in-law (Mimi) fixed individual egg-shaped cakes for everyone - DELICIOUS!
You can tell he was feeling good here.  We don't go to Mimi & Pappy's without a baseball game in their backyard with most of the family.
On your mark, get set...
GO
A prize egg
Is this what is coming next?  We don't know yet.  We have less than 30 days to decide if we are ready for a puppy from the next litter.  Our kids have been begging for a dog, but mommy and daddy just don't know if we are ready for that yet.  Pray for us:)

Paige, your children are so beautiful! I love Marah and Macy's outfits. Bless Joshua's heart for having strep. That is just not fun. I think that the picture of Macy with her Easter basket on her shoulder is precious! And, the pup is too cute. I would be tempted to get one. :)

The kids outfits are so cute! Love them! I'm so sad Joshua has been sick. I know ya'll would have all like to have gone to church together. Hope he is feeling better! Glad he got to enjoy his backyard baseball game. The dog is precious!

So sorry to hear about Joshua having strep on Easter.
Take a rain check on the puppy.
It will be mom and dad cleaning up the dog poo. My friend's son had to spend $1300.00 at the vet on an open sore. While at the vet, the dog was attacked outside by a dog. More money! Buy some gold fish.

I just wanted to tell you that I LOVE the kids easter outfits. Those are just too cute. I think that it is funny that you made Joshua put his on even though he was sick. I would have done the same thing to get a picture. That just sort of cracked me up! I would totally have to say a BIG NO to the dog. But I HATE animals. HA! Oh and the mini cake eggs are too cute. Very creative by Mrs. Debbie!
