If Joshua had $100...

A few weeks ago, Mrs. Greenhaw (Joshua's kindergarten teacher) asked the students to write about what they would buy with $100.  This just melted my heart when I saw it.  He wanted to buy his daddy a pair of tennis shoes with the $100.  His teacher told me that afternoon he was the only one in class that wanted to buy a gift for someone else.  How precious.  Can't help but brag a little bit on that one.  This is my child who always tells me, "mommy don't spend your money on me", or "you get me whatever you want me to have."  He is my helper and the one always wanting to help others.  My sweet little man!
He knew daddy had been wanting a new pair of turf shoes for coaching his baseball team.  Those were the tennis shoes he was talking about.
It reads, "I would give my dad some new tennis (tine) shoes (shz)."

That is precious. No doubt part of that is that he has a giving heart, but part of that is proof of what wonderful parents he has that have taught him to think of others :)

Oh that is so sweet! You'll have to laminate it and frame it to pull back out when he's a teenager!

How sweeet. I am so glad that Henry loves being around Joshua and Marah so much. I could not ask for better examples of precious children for Henry to look up to.
