SATURDAY, JULY 22 (DAY 7)

SATURDAY, JULY 22, 2017

Seriously? The last day of camp? Of course we started off with things in a hustle and a bustle this last morning. Getting things packed and loaded up can be a bit daunting, to say the least. I finished washing up the last load of clothing for Nana Camp 2017. Many times the thought went through my head that every single one of them had to have brought three times the amount of “stuff” they brought last year, because my washer and dryer were on overload the entire seven days. Also it was crazy dealing with the clothing that everyone denied to belong to them. After many attempts I only hope we found the correct recipient, and they were placed in the correct bags. I hope my own kids by now realize to NOT send anything to Nana Camp they would hate to lose, because losing something here would most probably have a percentage rate of around 90%.

Our only plans for today were packing and loading up, going to Sky Zone for a couple of hours, Chick Fila for lunch, and getting everyone headed toward home.

Grampy and I headed out ourselves for a few days retreat for over the hill seniors. LOL - After having 9 for the entire week we felt we needed one. That way we could go and starting planning for Nana Camp 2018. (That is definitely a joke. That is the last thing on our minds right now.)

Have I ever regretted starting Nana Camp? NEVER

Do I truly love it? YES I TRULY DO

Is it worth all the sacrifices Grampy and I have to make to be able to have it?  IT IS WORTH EVERY ONE

Are there days I want to pull every hair out of my head? YES EVERY SINGLE HAIR

Do I ever lose my temper? ABSOLUTELY- IT HAS GONE TO CANADA AND BACK BEFORE (probably 1,000 times)

Is it physically draining? IT CAN BE AND USUALLY IS

Why do I have Nana Camp? SO ALL OF US CAN SPEND A FUN WEEK TOGETHER AND HAVE FUN AND PRAYFULLY GROW IN OUR LOVE FOR THE LORD AND AS CAMDEN SAYS, “JUST CHILL OUT TOGETHER”

Much love from this Nana to all nine of my precious grandkids. If it is God’s will I plan to make 2018 the best yet to come. HIS WILL BE DONE.
